Musikbranschlunch - Att arbeta med Epidemic Sound
Daniel Fridell är Musikcentrum Syd medlem, artist och låtskrivare på den internationella marknaden. Daniel samarbetar med Epidemic Sounds och kommer att berätta om varför och hur det fungerar i praktiken. Kom och käka lite lunch, ta en kaffe och ställ frågor till Daniel. Sacha Kjøller från KANT agency tittar också förbi och berättar lite om sig själv och sin verksamhet som agent inom world/Folk/Roots. Sacha har Norden, Europa och Kanada som arbetsområde!

Vi kommer att vara på plats den 9-11 april på Folk Alliance i Malmö där vi bland annat kommer att facilitera en workshop under temat Folk / Root Train – Building a Regional Network!

Vad innebär det att vara jazz och improvisationsmusiker i dagens värld? Hur hittar jag min egen väg i mitt konstnärskap? Hur bygger vi community och stöttar varandras utveckling?
En endags workshop ledd av Simon Albertsen och Mathias Landæus där vi kommer att både spela och samtala. Tillsammans utforskar vi vår konstnärliga drivkraft, vår relation till samtiden och andra viktiga ämnen som har betydelse för vårt skapande.

"Påskrunda" - Easter at Schhh - Vardagsrummet in Östra Hoby
During these days an unfolding program of sound installations and electroacoustic works will be presented. The room remains open as a place for reflection and presence. Visitors may come and go, pause, listen, have a cup of coffee, and allow time to unfold. Each day a special act will be presented, tentatively at 14:00 – this may be a playback of an electroacoustic piece, a live set, or another sound-based event. The programme will be updated continuously.

Damkapellet är ett musikkollektiv som bildades 2016 för att skapa mångfald i den danska musikscenen genom att lyfta fram och framföra musik av artister som definierar sig själva som kvinnor, icke-binära eller transpersoner. Tove Bagge kommer till oss och berättar om hur Damkapellets verksamhet brukar fungera, och om hur den har förändrats över tid.

Musikcentrum tar nu ett nytt kliv för att tillgängliggöra högkvalitativ musik inom vård och omsorg. Vi startar upp en helt ny katalog dedikerad till “Musik för äldreomsorgen” och nu behöver vi din medverkan! Syftet med katalogen är att göra det enkelt för arrangörer och bokare inom kommuner och regioner att hitta professionella musiker som har program anpassade för just denna målgrupp.

Tanya Korenika is an emerging key player in the alternative music scene, running UCE Agency and a queer venue in Tallinn, Estonia. She promotes bands, gender equality and collaboration among artists, emphasizing personal connections in touring. The Baltic music market, with 5 to 6 million people, offers significant opportunities, especially with trends favoring large shows. Funding for cross-cultural projects and platforms like Tallinn Music Week support local musicians and international music business community in connecting and performing.

ALONA DMUKHOVSKA, Co-founder of Music Export Ukraine
Alona works in the music industry for almost a decade. Starting as a volunteer for the music festival she soon grew to the position of program director taking care of 100+ acts performing the biggest festival stages in Ukraine. She believes in the power of education and networking having done the music exchange projects in Germany, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, and even in the Middle East (Kyrgyzstan, hello!).
