Musikcentrum firar 50 år med ett gammalt hederligt “gröthäng” live från Malmö. Vi pratar med Ragnar Berthling och Karin Inde om Musikcentrums historia och gör en framtidsspaning. Elsa Nilsson is a flutist and composer from Gothenburg, Sweden, living and active in New York since 2010, where she works as a bandleader and freelance musician. Elsa has played at Carnegie Hall with Ravi Coltrane, has received several awards from Chamber Music America and is the winner of the 2018 National Flute Association's Jazz Flute competition.
She also has a special interest for mimikry in nature.

Congona Festival arrives in Malmö on July 11th as the very first festival exclusively dedicated to cumbia in all of Scandinavia. Organized by Wakan Tanka Records and Hamaka Latinamerikansk Förening, this free event will feature live bands, DJs, dance performances and a variety of local food and crafts vendors. We asked a couple of questions to the festival general Lora Grigorova.
Det nu går att söka till låtskrivarcampet Rhuba Camp International i Harplinge utanför Halmstad. Musik Hallandia började jobba tillsammans med Rhuba Park 2025 och kommer gå in ett mer djuplodande samarbete framöver. Förra årets camp var en riktig succé och deltagare har beskrivit upplevelsen som transformativ. Det är mycket fokus på kreativitet, att upptäcka nya metoder för låtskriveri och att värna om den konstnärliga processen.

The Jazz Train project connects independent jazz artists, entrepreneurs, and organizations across Denmark, Sweden, and Germany. As we step into our 20th year as a duo, we are inviting our community to help bring this new album to life. Rather than waiting for permission or relying on systems that no longer fully support independent artists, we want to create this next chapter together with you. Crowdfunding gives us a way forward. It allows us to create this album independently, with care and the quality it deserves, together with those who believe in our music and want to be part of the journey.
