Maikol Piardi is a digital creator, podcast host, and music marketing coach with Italo–Panamanian roots. With over a decade of experience in the Italian music industry, his path has taken him from hosting club nights and festivals to performing as a vocalist and organising cultural events. After earning a master’s degree in Trade Marketing and Business Strategies and gaining experience in the fashion and sales sectors, Maikol relocated to Berlin to pursue his passion for music on an international stage. In 2019, he founded Music Travel Guide, a platform originally dedicated to showcasing Berlin-based musicians, producers, and founders. Over time, it has evolved into a media and community hub featuring a blog, YouTube channel, podcast, and Club Membership program designed for black music experts, DIY artists, and creative professionals. Through these projects, Maikol connects global audiences to local scenes while fostering collaboration and cultural exchange. As a music marketing coach, Maikol offers tailored 1:1 coaching sessions to help jazz-rooted independent artists and musicians promote their work effectively and turn listeners into an engaged and loyal fan base.
In his current role as Marketing Manager at Edition Records, he supports some of the most influential voices in contemporary jazz and beyond, helping craft and amplify impactful campaigns and leading the label’s marketing and communications across digital platforms, industry networks, and internal operations. Guided by his belief that the Music Industry will never be saturated, Maikol’s mission is to inspire those around him through the power of their story, bridging artistry and structure to help committed artists grow with purpose while staying true to themselves.
