South By Southwest (SXSW), founded in Austin in 1987, is best known for its conferences and festivals that celebrate the convergence of the innovation, film & television, and music industries. An essential destination for global professionals, the event features sessions, showcases, screenings, exhibitions, and a variety of networking opportunities. The week-long event, which spans over 7 days, brings together one of the most diverse, collaborative, and inventive communities in the world.

The Consulate General of Sweden in Houston is exploring opportunities to bring together Swedish participants and partners at SXSW 2027 – from music, film & TV, gaming and other creative industries to business, technology and innovation.
