Jazz Train to Hamburg diary
On the 26th of June a bunch of Southern Swedish and Danish jazz artists, labels, agents etc, jumped on the train from Copenhagen central station. On the train we had time to get to know each other and a really nice trip on a very hot summers day. The traveling party arrived in Hamburg and JazzBuro in the afternoon, where presentations, talks, coffee, speed meetings and networking took place.
After that, we all went for dinner at Brückenstern joint dinner, followed by a jazz jam session at Bird Land club, where Mathias Landaeus, Felix Tani, Ellen Mölck , Gabriel Øien etc went up on stage with the local jazz artists.
The day after, we did a workshop with Yvonne and Vincent from Jazz Federation, to take a look at how this region and the jazz music industry etc will look like in the future of 2035 (Results will be shared later).
