An evening of experimental music and visuals, featuring members of the Pixlar o Ljud community - artists and musicians using programming and technology as a creative tool. This is a chance fro musicians to meet with visual artists. To get inspired but also find opportunities for future artistic collaborations.

The Jazz Train project connects independent jazz artists, entrepreneurs, and organizations across Denmark, Sweden, and Germany. Our focus is to provide a shared platform where knowledge exchange and collaboration strengthen the entire music sector in our region. Musikcentrum Syd och partners bjuder in till en nätverksträff med fokus på det kommande samarbetet under Baltic & Nordic Music Days i Riga.

Musikcentrum tar nu ett nytt kliv för att tillgängliggöra högkvalitativ musik inom vård och omsorg. Vi startar upp en helt ny katalog dedikerad till “Musik för äldreomsorgen” och nu behöver vi din medverkan! Syftet med katalogen är att göra det enkelt för arrangörer och bokare inom kommuner och regioner att hitta professionella musiker som har program anpassade för just denna målgrupp.

Musikcentrum Syd Label är ett sätt för våra medlemmar och föreningen att tillsammans ge ut ny eller outgiven musik. Dagens musikbransch är en tuff arbetsplats och våra medlemmar är oftast enskilda entreprenörer som driver sina bolag på egen hand samtidigt som de ska skapa musik och stå på scen.

PIXLAR OCH LJUD is a community that meets once per month. Inviting people who work with technology as a creative tool. This includes anything from making visuals, modding synths, or making electronic music. If you are interested in anything related to this, if you want to get into these things, or you want to get to know people that work with these things, you are very welcome to join us.

Den 5/9 bjuder Musikcentrum Syd in till en musikbranschträff tillsammans med våra partners, Skånsk Live, Annelundsgården, NGBG-festivalen, internationella partners och Malmö - Copenhagen Music Tech drinks.

Musikcentrum Syd deltar i NGBG labs och presenterar vår verksamhet för övriga medverkande aktörer och deltagare på NGBG festivalen. Vilken roll tar vi som centrumbildning i utvecklingen av vår lokala musikscen? Kom och dela med dig/er av era tankar till oss och övriga på plats!

Nästa BAID nätverksträff kommer att äga rum under Tallinn Music Week. Vi kommer att köra workshops samt nätverka med musikscenen i Tallinn och delta i festivalens evenemang. Vi kommer också att vara mer direkt involverade i ett samarbete med Tallinn Music Week.

Torsdagen den 20/2 samlades ett femtiotal musiker och musikbranschaktörer tillsammans med oberoende utvecklare/innovatörer från Danmark, England, USA, Norge och Indien för att nämna några. Det gemensamma temat var att små oberoende aktörer går samman och skapar små oberoende plattformar för musiker och fans.

Nu fortsätter det nordiska arbetet i STATUS. En representant från varje land i norden, inkl Färöarna och Grönland träffas under Musica Nova den 5–15.2.2025 i Helsingfors, för att tillsammans arbeta med de signaler, dvs trender och tendenser, inom musikbranschen, som fångats upp runt om i Norden. Har du sett något som pågår just nu, positivt eller negativt, vad gäller arrangemang, projekt eller initiativ, och som skulle kunna behöva hanteras på nordisk nivå? Detta gäller även positiva bra exempel som borde spridas.
