Multiple award-winning Senegalese/Swedish duo Sousou & Maher Cissoko are crossing borders in their music just like in their life together. Trio Wolski's music is a mixture of traditional Nordic folk melodies and own compositions. Sophisticated arrangements are varied with free improvisations and with their special instrumentation, they create a sound that constantly shifts in dynamics and intensities.
The group has its base in folk music, but that has not prevented them from breaking the tradition and giving concerts outside the traditional folk & world music scene.
